Porch & Veranda Construction in Charlotte, NC

A porch changes how a house lives — morning coffee out front, a dry entry in the rain, curb appeal that no paint job can match. We build and rebuild porches and verandas that look original to the home.

What we do

Front porches, back porches, wrap-around verandas — we frame them on proper footings, match roof pitch and trim to the house, and finish with railings, stairs, and ceilings that look like they were always there.

We also rebuild aging porches: sagging roofs, rotted posts, and settled foundations are all fixable. We keep the character and replace the structure underneath.

Every porch gets code-compliant railings and stairs, and materials chosen for exposure — covered porches can use different decking than open ones, and we'll walk you through the options.

Common questions

Can you rebuild my existing porch instead of tearing it off?

Usually yes. If the footprint works, we replace the failing structure — posts, beams, roof framing — while keeping the look of the original. It's often faster and cheaper than full replacement.

What's the difference between a porch and a veranda?

In practice, a veranda is a larger, often wrap-around covered porch. Structurally we build them the same way: real footings, engineered spans, and a roof that ties into the house correctly.

Will a new porch match my house?

That's the goal. We match roof pitch, column style, railing profile, and trim so the porch reads as original construction, not an addition.
